le repérage des lignes de hublots avec l'aide d'un trusquin et d'un gabarit
The marking of the porthole lines with the help of a trusquin and a template

les différentes épaisseurs présentent sur la coque , sont réalisées par surépaisseurs de peinture passée a l'aérographe après masquage
The different thicknesses present on the hull are obtained by extra thickness of paint passed through the airbrush, after a masking     

 

les hublots sont réalisée en PE (fait par B.Gire)et seront collés un a un sur la coque
The portholes are made in PE by a friend and will be glued one  by one on the hull

sur le haut de la coque on peut apercevoir la ceinture de démagnétisassions en PE (faite par Jean Mahieux )
On the top ,we can see the degaussing belt  in PE (make by Jean Mahieux)

la prochaine étape sera l'amélioration de la cheminée

La suite des travaux vas se porter sur le rebouchage des lignes des hublots ( fausses )

le pont secondaire est lui aussi refait totalement

la configuration d'origine du Richelieu comporte un hangar d'aviation ,donc celui ci est refait et le pont est découpé a sa forme et le pont de la proue prolongé sur la surface du hangar

le pont château est débarrassé de tout ces détails supérieures et d'autre rajouté

mon projet est de représenter le Richelieu dans le port de Dakar en 1942 . plus exactement pendant la phase d'essais de la catapulte tribord .pour ce faire il me faut modifier la maquette Trumpeter au 1/350 em.cette maquette le représente dans sa configuration post 1943 après sa "modernisation" au Etats-Unis .donc tout a commencé un repérage de sa ligne d'eau au trusquin

suivi d'une bonne "trépanation" a la scie circulaire
My project is to represent the Richelieu in the Dakar harbour  in 1942. More precisely during the test phase of the starboard catapult. To do this I have to modify the Trumpeter model to the 1/350 em. This model represents it in its post 1943 configuration  after its "refurbishing " in the United States.I started to marked the water line with a trusquin,followed by a good "trepanation" with a circular saw

des renforts avaient été collés avant l'opération  pour renfoncer la coque
Reinforcements had been glued before the operation to reinforce the hull

après ponçage un fond en carte plastique est rajouté
After sanding a plastic card background is added

puis c'est la présentation de la coque sur la surface que fera le futur diorama
Then it is the presentation with the hull with the surface that will make the future diorama

il faut beaucoup d'imagination pour y voir les quais , l'eau etc etc ...mais cette présentation m'a permis de visualiser ce que je voulais obtenir et de pouvoir me lancer dans l'aventure qui dure depuis 2012 ....
